Careers Ambassadors

Plans for the 2024/2025 year ahead

A message from the Year 6 Career and Enterprise Ambassadors:

"As Career and Enterprise Ambassadors, we believe that making sure everyone at ECPS knows about the jobs available to them will help all of us as children have a goal to work towards. We also believe that understanding enterprise is important for organisation, time management and money skills."

This year, we are going to be working on the following:

- During Autumn Term, we will be role playing different careers with the younger children in school.

- During Spring Term, we are going to be contacting local businesses for careers week in February to hopefully hold a careers information afternoon in our school hall.

- During Autumn Term, we would like to set ourselves an enterprise project to create, manage and produce for the school fair.

Autumn Term Updates

This term, the Careers and Enterprise Ambassadors have been in Reception to role play teachers, as this was a common interest amongst the children. Our Year 6s learnt all about the role of a Teacher and shared this with the Reception children. Over the next few weeks, the ambassadors will be choosing a new career to focus on.
