Volunteering at Easingwold Primary School

We welcome volunteer helpers at school and we recognise not only the additional support they bring but also the wealth of experience from their own fields of work.

If you might like to offer some time to the children we would really like to hear from you. Please contact us via the 'Contact' page or come and speak with us at the front office.

Safeguarding:

We have a duty to ensure that we safeguard both our children from any potential harm and also a duty to safeguard our employees and volunteers. For these reasons we must ask any volunteers to carry out the following prior to coming to school:

Provide 2 character references.

Undertake a DBS check.

Meet with the headteacher to undertake an induction.

Undertake 'Basic Child Protection Training'.

Read Part 1 of Keeping Children Safe in Education 2020.

Whilst the information above can seem a little overwhelming it is essential to ensuring the safety of the staff and children at Easingwold Primary School.
