Christmas Carols for the Light Up a Life Service - Thursday 28th November 2024 - 6pm
Light Up a Life - Christmas Tree Switch On and Carol Singing - 6pm (until the end of the service) Thursday 28th November
We have been invited to attend the Light Up a Life Christmas tree switch. The Town Band will play carols and they have invited the children from our school to sing. Please see the leaflet attached for more details.
If you would like your child to participate, you will need to bring them to meet Mrs Robson-Beck near the Town Band and the Christmas tree in front of the Market Place Co-op at 5.50pm.
At least one accompanying family member MUST remain at the service at all times as Mrs Robson-Beck cannot allow unaccompanied children to stay with her as she is not responsible for the children during the event. It will be very busy so this is vital. Please can children wrap up warm, it was very cold last year as is an outside event.
KS2 children are learning the carols during singing assembly. Reception and KS1 children are welcome at the event too.
Please scroll down the page to see a poster about the event and the carols to learn.
In December 2022, the Year 6 children were kindly invited to Singing For All, a Musical Bridges project, by local singer and singing leader, Jessa Liversidge. The children had the wonderful experience of singing with Jessa and members of her Singing For All group. The fantastic images were taken by local photographer, Amanda Moore. Scroll down this page to see some FREE upcoming Musical Bridges events you can book with your whole family. They are suitable for all ages, all voices.
